Primary - Secondary Transition

At Cleveden we recognise the importance of establishing and nurturing strong links with our associated Primary Schools so that pupils making the transition from Primary to Secondary do not find it such a daunting experience. 

There are seven associated Primary Schools within the Cleveden Learning Community (Cadder, Caldercuilt, Dunard, Kelvindale, Parkview, Ruchill & Westercommon) and it's our goal to work with them as much as possible to establish a strong identity and support learning and teaching and pupil development.

Through working collaboratively with our associated Primary Schools, we plan and organise events that bring primary pupils up to Cleveden (Multi Cultural Event, Sports Challenges, Enterprise Event, Specific Curricular Inserts and the  'Cleveden Experience') as well as take Cleveden pupils & Staff out to visit the primaries (Sports Coaching, Holocaust Talk, Burns Night Celebration Events, Curricular Specialist Visits & Pastoral Care Visits).  Details of some of these initiatives can be found by clicking on the links above.
