A group of 6th year pupils have been engaged in the SQA Interdisciplinary Project in Languages. They tasked themselves with overcoming stereotypes held about French and Scottish cuisines and over the school year they have conducted research into misconceptions held and created a website to overcome them.
The results of all the research and a selection of traditional recipes translated into both French and English can be found on the website that the group has created. We would encourage you to visit the website, read the findings and try some of the recipes. The website also offers the possibility to get in touch with the group to suggest possible recipes and give feedback.
