Biology Attainment
The department aims to ensure that the quality of pupil learning is sustained and that pupils are well motivated. Pacing and variety of lesson methodology are the responsibility of each classroom teacher.
Individual pupil needs and progress are monitored and recorded when appropriate. Target setting is adopted when appropriate. Opportunities, where practicable, are provided for pupils to develop as independent learners. Practical work is actively promoted. Teamwork and collaborative tasks, are encouraged when appropriate.
Support for learning is negotiated as required.
