P7 Transition Coming to Cleveden

At Cleveden we recognise the importance of establishing and nurturing strong links with our associated Primary Schools so that pupils making the transition from Primary to Secondary do not find it such a daunting experience.
There are six associated Primary Schools within the Cleveden Learning Community (Cadder, Caldercuilt, Dunard, Kelvindale, Parkview, Highpark) and it's our goal to work with them as much as possible to establish a strong identity, support learning and teaching and pupil development.
Through working collaboratively with our associated Primary Schools, we plan and organise events that bring primary pupils to Cleveden before starting S1. The events include:

Multi Cultural Event,

Sports Challenges,

Enterprise Event,

Specific Curricular Inserts and
-
the 'Cleveden Experience' covering two days following what will be the pupils' classes.
Additionally Cleveden pupils & staff visit the primaries to discuss the primary pupils expectations and the secondary pupils give the an honest perspective of life as a secondary pupil.
